Entry to the Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) is limited and competitive
Successfully completed General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level (A/L) (according to UGC
criterion) with three passes in the Biology stream with at least a ‘C’ pass in chemistry and a minimum of
30% for the Common Paper.
Successfully completed, either (a) Cambridge Advance Level (A/L), or (b) Edexcel (Pearson) Advance Level
(A/L) or (c) International Baccalaureate (IB) conducted in Sri Lanka with at least equivalent or above of
three “S” grade in approved subjects with ‘C’ grade or equivalent is needed in Chemistry.
