Q: Do I have to pay?

A: Your total investment for this bootcamp is Rs.195,000 but don’t let this figure set you back, we have scholarships to deserving participants, there are bank loans available too, so hurry up and apply online. Don’t worry about money now

Q: I have a IT degree, can I apply?

A: There is a reason behind calling this a “Graduate Conversion Program”, our idea is to give a chance to non IT graduates to join the ICT workforce. But if you are looking at polishing your skills and becoming a full-stack developer, why not apply online now?

Q: I don’t have a degree or I have not completed a degree, can I apply?

A: Our priority is non-IT graduates. However if you are very keen and talented do apply and face the online assessment

Q: How long is the training program?

A: The total training program is 18 months, of which the first 6 months will be hands-on theoretical and lab based training. The next 12 months will be an internship where you will be working in companies solving real-world problems with a world class team.

Q: What is the assessment criteria?

A: After each topic there will be formative coursework which is assessed. This includes essays, problem sets, case studies, reports, quizzes. This is designed to help prepare you for your final project.

Q: How long is the internship program?

A: 12 months

Q: Can I select the company for my internship?

A: You will be able to list your top 3 preferences. However placement is dependent on your application, test and performance at the assessment day. .

Q: Will I get paid during the internship?

A: Yes of course!

Q: What happens after the internship?

A: We expect 100% job guarantee, but remember the ball is in your court

Q: Can I cancel the program halfway?

A: We are investing a considerable amount of resources to conduct this program and expect all participant to complete the program successfully and join a world class IT company. But unavoidable incidents shall be taken on a case-by-case basis

Q: Where will the training program conducted?

A: SLTC Main Campus, Padukka

Q: Will I be a “Software Engineer” after this program?

A: The course is designed to equip you with the skills to be a junior programmer. The rest it up to you.

Q: Do I need a laptop for the training program?

A: The training program is conducted in state of the art computer labs at SLTC, so you will not need a laptop for the course. However having your own laptop is always handy to refresh your learning at home
